春節(jié)到了英語(yǔ)作文

Far and away the most important holiday in China is Spring Festival， also known as the Chinese New Year. To the Chinese people it is as important as Christmas to people in the West. the dates for this annual celebration are determined by the lunar calendar rather than the GREgorian calendar， so the timing of the holiday varies from late January to early February.

To the ordinary Chinese， the festival actually begins on the eve of the lunar New Year‘s Day and ends on the fifth day of the first month of the lunar calendar. But the 15th of the first month， which normally is called the Lantern Festival， means the official end of the Spring Festival in many parts of the country.

在中國(guó)最重要的節(jié)日是春節(jié)，也被稱為中國(guó)的新年。對(duì)中國(guó)人來說，對(duì)西方國(guó)家的人來說，圣誕節(jié)同樣重要。每年慶祝的日期是由農(nóng)歷而不是公歷決定的，因此節(jié)日的時(shí)間從1月底到2月初不等。

對(duì)普通中國(guó)人來說，這個(gè)節(jié)日實(shí)際上是從農(nóng)歷新年的.前夕開始，到農(nóng)歷的第一個(gè)月的第五天結(jié)束。但是第一個(gè)月的15號(hào)，通常被稱為元宵節(jié)，在全國(guó)許多地方意味著春節(jié)的正式結(jié)束。
