He may not be as invincible as the monkey we seeon the traditional version of the classic Journey tothe West (《西游記》), but he is the Monkey Kingaudiences across generations have loved watching grow. We’re talking about Japanese mangaartist Akira Toriyama’s iconic character Son Goku.

也許他不像名著《西游記》里的美猴王那樣天下無(wú)敵，但他卻是伴隨著幾代觀眾一起成長(zhǎng)起來(lái)的那只“美猴王。我們說(shuō)的正是日本漫畫(huà)大師鳥(niǎo)山明筆下的經(jīng)典人物——孫悟空。

Almost a decade after Dragon Ball Z (1989-2006) ended, Goku is back again. Dragon BallSuper, a new series that is set to run 100 episodes, recently premiered on Fuji TV in Japan andon Chinese streaming video website iQiyi.

《龍珠Z》(1989-2006)完結(jié)已近10年，悟空歸來(lái)——《龍珠超》設(shè)定的劇情長(zhǎng)度為100集，近日在日本富士電視臺(tái)和中國(guó)的愛(ài)奇藝視頻網(wǎng)站上首映。

In this continuation of the Dragon Ball (1986-1989) TV series, Goku, an interstellar migrantand one of the last survivors of a powerful alien race, has transformed from a playful childinto a married father.

《龍珠Z》是《龍珠》(1986-1989)的續(xù)集。在這部動(dòng)畫(huà)中，星際移民孫悟空——外星戰(zhàn)斗種族的最后幸存者，從一個(gè)頑皮的孩童成長(zhǎng)為一名父親。

Over time, the franchise progressed away from the humor of original TV series Dragon Ball,which depicted Goku as a boy, to the heavy combat action of Dragon Ball Z, which depictedGoku as a man. Dragon Ball Super is expected to balance humor and fighting, utilizing theelements that made both of its predecessors memorable.

The new series begins with Goku living the peaceful family life of a farmer. Of course, Gokuturns farming into training, which inevitably makes for a funny but disastrous scene on thefarm.

新劇集從悟空恬靜的鄉(xiāng)下生活開(kāi)始。當(dāng)然，悟空沒(méi)有種地而是跑去練功，不可避免的在農(nóng)田上留下了十分搞笑卻又災(zāi)難性的場(chǎng)景。

Meanwhile, an unprecedented evil approaches from outer space. Lord Beerus, one of the mostpowerful villains in the whole series, possesses the power to cut a planet into two halves byplayfully tapping one finger. It’s up to Goku to stop Beerus in his tracks.
