Ⅰ. meet “遇見、遇到;接(人)”;“集會”;“滿足(要求等)”。

　　① I know his name, but I’ve never met him. 我知道他的名字，但從未見過他。

　　② The staff members will meet tomorrow to discuss the problem.　員工們明天開會將討論這一問題。

　　③ I will meet my wife at the airport. 我將去機場接我的妻子

　　④ This will meet your needs. 這將滿足你的要求。

　　Ⅱ. meet with. “遇到;碰到”強調偶然性;還常表示“遭遇;經歷;遭到”此時不能只用meet.　如：

　　① I met with a childhood friend on the bus. 我在汽車上遇到一個兒時的朋友。

　　② They met with an accident on their way back. 他們在回去的路上遇到車禍。

　　③ I met with some difficulties when I tried to enter the country. 我在入境時遇到一些困難。
