　　 十、被 動 語 態

　　 英語的語態分主動語態和被動語態兩種。主動語態的主語是動作的執行者;被動語態的主語是動作的承受者。

　　 eg. We use a knife for cutting (主動句).

　　 A knife is used for cutting (被動句)。

　　 一、構成:be + 過去分詞

　　 eg. 1)The work is finished by him.

　　 2)Chinese is spoken by people in China.

　　 二、被動語態的時態

　　 1.一般現在時:am/ is/ are + 過去分詞

　　 eg. English is spoken by Englishmen.

　　 2.一般過去時:was/ were + 過去分詞

　　 eg. The machines were made in China.

　　 3.一般將來時:will/shall/be going to be+過去分詞

　　 eg. A sports meeting will be held in our school next week.

　　 4.現在完成時:have/ has been + 過去分詞

　　 eg. The work has been done by them.

　　 5.現在進行時:am/ is/ are being + 過去分詞。

　　 eg. A new school is being built in our village.

　　 6.過去進行時:was/ were being + 過去分詞

　　 eg. My TV set was being mended at that time.

　　 綜上所述:被動語態的時態只涉及be動詞的變化(即:be動詞的各種時態)

　　 另外注意以下幾點:

　　 1.含情態動詞的被動語態:

　　 can / may / must / should + be + 過去分詞

　　 eg. He may be sent away from school.

　　 2.帶動詞不定式的被動語態

　　 eg. My bike needs to be mended.

　　 3.在使用被動語態時,如需要指出動作執行者時,應用by + 動作的執行者(賓格)

　　 eg. He was called Mike by us

　　 4.不及物動詞無被動語態(take place/ happen ; last ; rise ; sink ; fall等)

　　 eg. The accident was happened two days ago (改錯) _________

　　 5.當賓語補足語是省to不定式時,在改作被動語態之后,應將省去的to還原。

　　 eg.The boss made the workers work 12 hours.

　　 The workers were made to work 12 hours.

　　 6.注意短語動詞的完整性(即:主動句的謂語動詞若由v + prep / adv構成,變被動語態時,不能將這些介詞、副詞遺漏。

　　 eg. We must take care of the baby.

　　 The baby must be taken care of.

　　 十一、狀語從句

　　 (一)時間狀語從句:由when, while, before, after, since, as soon as, till / until引導的從句

　　 1)when與while

　　 eg.1)I'll tell her the good news _____he comes back.

　　 2)Aunt Wang came in while we were watching TV

　　 3)since:自從以來(since從句常用一般過去時)

　　 注意主句通常用現在完成時,但當主句表示一種狀態,用一般現在時

　　 eg.1)He has lived there since he came to China

　　 2)It is two years since her mother died.

　　 (二)條件狀語從句:由if (如果)引導的從句

　　 eg.I will go to the park if it ________ (not rain) tomorrow.

　　 注意:條件狀語從句與以下句型的轉換

　　 1)祈使句,and (then , or)+簡單句

　　 = If you , you

　　 eg.1)Use your head, then you'll find a way.

　　 =If you use your head, you'll find a way

　　 2)Hurry up, or you'll be late.

　　 =If you don't hurry, you'll be late.

　　 2)without與條件句的轉化

　　 eg. Man can't live without water.

　　 =Man can't live if there is no water.

　　 注意以上兩種狀語從句的時態

　　 主句 時間、條件句

　　 1)一般將來時 2)祈使句 3)情態動詞原形 一般現在時

　　 一般過去時 一般過去時

　　 但since從句例外,應與現在完成時連用。

　　 eg.1)I'll call you as soon as he ______ (come) back.

　　 2)He won't go to bed until he _________ (finish) his homework.

　　 3)I'll help you if I _____ (be) free tomorrow

　　 4)I ___________ (live) here since I came to China.

　　 (三)原因狀語從句:由because, since , for , as引導的從句

　　 eg. He didn't go to school because he was ill.

　　 注意:1)對because引導的從句提問用why

　　 2)因為(because), 所以(so)不能連用

　　 eg. Because he was (A) ill, so (B) he didn't (C) go to school (D) yesterday. ________

　　 (四)結果狀語從句:由so that引導的從句(so后接形、副原級)

　　 eg. He ran (A) so faster (B) that I couldn't catch up with (C) him. ________

　　 注意:1) so that +否定句與too to的替換

　　 eg.1)He is so young that he can't go to school.

　　 = He is too young to go to school(主、從句主語相同)

　　 2)He ran so fast that we couldn't catch up with him.

　　 = He ran too fast for us to catch up with. (主、從句主語不同)

　　 3)The box is so heavy that I can't carry it

　　 = The box is too heavy for me to carry.(注意carry后省去賓語it)

　　 2)so that +從句與enough to的替換

　　 eg.1)He's so strong that he can carry the box.

　　 = He's strong enough to carry the box.

　　 2)The question is so easy that I can answer it

　　 =The question is easy enough for me to answer
