近義詞---Waste, Garbage, Junk, Refuse, Rubbish, Trash
Waste(n.)----廢物。普通用語。指任何被遺棄的東西。
Garbage(n.)----廢物。指廚房里丟棄的剩余物。
Junk(n.)----廢物。指用壞了地，無價值的廢棄物。
Refuse(n.)----廢物，垃圾。泛指一切毫無用處，毫無價值的廢物或垃圾。
Rubbish(n.)----垃圾，廢物。指體積較小、破碎的、沒有用的廢物，和可收集起來進行處理的棄物，
間或指愚蠢無用的話語和思想。
Trash(n.)---- 廢物。指小型無價值的雜物，或無價值作品。
例：Industrial waste must be prevented from polluting our rivers.
必須阻止工業廢物污染河流。
