SAT填空題常考詞匯中有一種單詞類型是變義單詞，所謂變義單詞即已知的單詞，加了ed或者ing等之后意思發(fā)生了詞義非常規(guī)變化，這在SAT填空題中是常常考到的知識點(diǎn)，我們舉例說明一下，如：

　　Although visitors initially may find touring the city by subway to be ______, they are pleased to discover that subways are an inexpensive and ______ way to get around.

　　A. wasteful generous B. daunting efficient C. extravagant prohibitive

　　D. convenient solitary E. enjoyable easy

　　這道SAT填空題目很簡單，但很多同學(xué)沒有把prohibitive的常考意搞清楚，應(yīng)該是昂貴的，與前面inexpensive成反義詞，這樣從邏輯判斷或者說叫感情色彩判斷會很快排除此選項(xiàng)。
