　　 3、 from the bottom up = 從細微末節(jié)做起?

　　 Just as good character comes from the bottom up , so does a good society. This is why the idea, and not the actual policies, of clamping down on anti-social behaviour builds on a genuine insight .

　　 原譯:好的品德要 從細微末節(jié)做起, 一個良好的社會也是這樣。這就是取締反社會行為的想法(而不是實際政策)在于真正的 自我省悟 的原因所在。

　　 改譯:正如良好的品格 要從基礎抓起 ,一個良好的社會也是如此。這就是打擊反社會行為的想法,而非實際舉措,是建立在真正的 洞察力 基礎上的原因。

　　 點評:

　　 1、 bottom是基礎的意思,from the bottom up就是從基礎抓起,故把從細微末節(jié)做起改為從基礎抓起。

　　 2、 insight是洞察力的意思,譯為自我省悟就不對了,美國有家雜志Insight,中文則譯成《洞察》。
