同時,平時我們很少看到這類用法,所以完全可以用many,lots of就好啦嘛,又方便還不會錯.
7. no more than 有兩個意思,平時看到最多的應該是僅僅,只不過比如

He is no more than a puppet.
但是如果no more than拆開用,變成no morethan意思就不大一樣了,相當于 neithernor的意思
Jack is no more diligent than John.杰克和約翰誰都不勤奮.
not more than如果連用也是表示至多,不超過的意思
Not more than 1,000 people attended the lecture.
但是要是拆開用變成not morethan的形式,就表示不如,前者不如后者的意思
比如例句:

如果直譯應該是---把它當作河 把它當作小溪----它還不如比作小溪恰當呢!
